I've been blessed with the opportunity to travel through various outlets including ambassadorships and scholarships. My travels are used as an educational tool to learn about the history and people of the areas I visit. Throughout the course of these trips I've been able to learn about and participate in various projects that help the environment and spread education about global concerns.

 

Traveling has provided the invaluable opportunity to meet with government dignitaries from various countries to discuss initiatives to aid their citizens. These conversations ranged from developing an inclusive community for people displaced from their homes due to war and conflict to environmental impacts and potential solutions. I've had meaningful conversations with citizens whose families and livelihoods have been torn apart from hardships and gained an understanding of the rifts it causes between individuals, the effects it had on society, and the undying desire to bridge together the community to revive the feeling of hope that was lost.

Although I will never be able to fully understand their experiences, I take the knowledge they shared with me and use it to help educate those to see beyond their own perspectives and gain a larger global understanding.
